The same goes for me, like hundreds of thousands of voters. I'm not going to vote for the first time in my life because I had no information on the program of any of the candidates. And I live in Montreal! Where this is not the choice of candidates who lack. But I do not have time to do research and I have received no information, otherwise flanges, in the media… and signs on poles (only with pictures and names)! So nothing for me to make an informed choice.
The worst is that there is taxpayers' money that is given to candidates, And this, without requiring their duty to inform voters of their electoral program.
When do you require the Chief Electoral Officer to use taxpayers' money, priority, to inform voters about the content of the program individuals who present rather than advertising without content.
Only Montreal project (that I remember) posted some ideas. But since I do not agree with all Montreal Project ideas (I find them too conservative!) and not talking about Coderre; I wish I could vote for a third party emerge more gradually rather than being in a city under a two-party dictatorship as… in the USA!
so paradox, from the founder of the Movement for True Democracy… not going to vote!
